Requirements and responsibilities

We are looking for a General Manager to join our dynamic team, based at our Toronto office, in the Design District. This position is open for seasoned professionals from the Interior Finishes Products/Interior Design Industry with the capacity to wear any and all hats of Marketing, Operations, & Client Liaison to support the day-to-day management of the company. The role is set to become a critical part of the organization. Responsibilities: • Manage the marketing, sales, and operations team. • Lead marketing and sales efforts. • Oversee the daily operation of the company, including the installation team. • Direct check-in meetings with their sales team. • Train and grow the team. •. Attending events and executing networking and benchmarking efforts. • Support the procurement process. What Will Make You Successful? • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the industry, ideally including sales positions. • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. • Project management skills • Outstanding problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of sales cycle management. • Excellent in modern Marketing -Social Media & Networking. • Good time management skills with the ability to handle a high volume of activity and work. • Excellent skills in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and design software.
