We are seeking a Part-Time passionate, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Virtual Travel Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will assist clients in planning and booking unforgettable travel experiences—from flights and hotels to tours and excursions—entirely online. As a remote travel professional, you will use your knowledge and industry tools to craft customized itineraries that meet the unique needs of each traveler.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with clients to understand travel goals, preferences, and budgets.
Research, plan, and book complete travel experiences — flights, hotels, cruises, tours, and transportation.
Create personalized itineraries that match each client’s unique needs and interests.
Provide expert recommendations on destinations, activities, and travel insurance options.
Stay current with travel regulations, entry requirements, and safety protocols.
Manage booking changes, cancellations, and rescheduling efficiently.
Deliver outstanding customer service through clear, prompt communication via email, chat, or phone.
Maintain strong, long-term client relationships through trust and reliability.
Use travel booking tools and platforms effectively to ensure accuracy.
Promote additional services such as upgrades, tours, and insurance to enhance client experiences.
Collaborate with team members to share travel insights and support business growth.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Travel Agent, Consultant, or similar role (virtual preferred), but not required. All training is provided.
* Strong knowledge or willingness to learn domestic and international travel destinations.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple client bookings simultaneously.
* Proficiency with online booking systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace not required.
* Certification in travel or tourism is a plus (e.g., IATA, CLIA, or travel school graduate). Not required.
