What You'll Do:As a Staff Product Designer, you will be a principal force in defining the future trajectory of the FloQast platform, focusing on high-leverage problems across multiple teams or product areas. You will define and deliver the next generation of seamlessly embedded AI capabilities across the product suite.Define and Drive Design Strategy: Lead the long-term design vision and strategy for major, cross-functional product domains (not just features) within the FloQast platform, ensuring alignment with company objectives and driving significant business impact.Design for Transformative AI: Act as the principal designer translating complex AI capabilities and enterprise requirements into intuitive, high-trust, and scalable experiences that remove adoption barriers and deliver groundbreaking value to accounting teams.Architect Design Vision and Roadmap: Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering Leadership to define the product roadmap and architecture, contributing a deep, user-centered perspective that proactively identifies and scopes opportunities for platform-level improvements.Elevate Quality and Consistency at Scale: Set the bar for design quality across the entire platform. Guide the evolution of the design system, establishing standards and patterns that ensure consistency, usability, and technical feasibility across multiple design teams.Champion Strategic User Empathy: Design and lead high-impact research initiatives that deepen the organization's understanding of our users' unmet needs, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data to inform high-level strategic product decisions.Lead Complex Execution and Mentorship: Own execution on the most complex, ambiguous projects, driving them to completion. Mentor and coach other designers on the team in strategy, execution, technical feasibility, and cross-functional leadership, fostering a culture of excellence.Influence the Organization: Proactively influence stakeholders across the organization, effectively communicating complex design problems, rationale, and solutions to executive leadership and large cross-functional teams.
