What you’ll be doing:Work closely with design and production teams to define test requirementsCreate and maintain test documentation including test lists, station BOMs, and operator instructionsDevelop test solutions to automate data collection and reportsDesign electronic test boards, wiring harnesses, and other custom test hardwareRun tests through all stages of product development and assemblyProvide design for test (DFT) feedback on upcoming designsPerform root cause analysis as needed to resolve failuresWhat you bring to this role:BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent5-10 years of experience as a test engineer or electrical engineerFamiliar with typical lab equipment like DAQs, DSOs, DMMs, power supplies, VSA, VSG, VNA, etc.Able to read a schematic and understand the purpose of an electronic circuitSkilled programmer in at least 1 language such as C/C++, C#, Python, or Matlab.Knowledge of various testing techniques and requirementsDemonstrated success in a fast-paced environmentExtra points for the following:Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and layout of complex PCBsExperience designing or testing electrical power systems.Experience designing or testing RF.Knowledge of communication systems and signal processing.Experience with git and CI/CD pipelines.Proficiency performing circuit analysesSalary range:$0 - $0 a yearClosing description:This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Saratoga office. The target base pay for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 annually. The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities.
