This role, on behalf of a highly respected and rapidly growing boutique California family law firm, is seeking a Senior Family Law Paralegal (Mandarin Speaking) to join its fully remote team.Supporting a team of accomplished family law attorneys handling sophisticated, high-net-worth matters, you'll play a key role in guiding clients through some of life's most complex legal challenges. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced California Family Law Paralegal who thrives on ownership, values exceptional client service, and is looking for a long-term home with a firm known for its collaborative culture, outstanding employee retention, and commitment to excellence.What You'll Do as the Senior Family Law Paralegal:Support six Family Law Attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial preparationIndependently manage complex family law cases with minimal supervision and take ownership of day-to-day case progressionPrepare, review, and file pleadings, declarations, financial disclosures, discovery, subpoenas, and other legal documentsCoordinate court deadlines, hearings, mediations, and trial preparationCommunicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third-party expertsOrganize and analyze financial records, executive compensation, RSUs, stock options, retirement assets, business interests, and other complex marital estate documentationAssist attorneys with settlement conferences, mediation, and trial preparationMaintain organized case files while ensuring compliance with California Family Law procedures and court rulesDeliver exceptional client service with professionalism, empathy, and discretionCollaborate with attorneys and support staff in a fully remote, technology-driven environmentMust-Haves as the Senior Family Law Paralegal:7+ years of dedicated California Family Law Paralegal experienceAt least one year of full-time experience handling matters before the Santa Clara County Superior Court strongly preferredFluent in Mandarin (spoken and written)Extensive experience supporting high-net-worth family law mattersStrong knowledge of California Family Law procedures, judicial forms, financial disclosures, and litigation deadlinesAbility to independently manage complex cases with minimal supervisionExcellent written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skillsStrong computer proficiency and comfort working in a fully remote environmentProfessional maturity, emotional intelligence, and sound judgmentStable employment history demonstrating long-term commitmentNice-to-Haves as the Senior Family Law Paralegal:Cantonese language skillsTrial preparation and trial support experienceExperience handling seven- and eight-figure marital estatesExperience with executive compensation matters, including RSUs, stock options, bonuses, and deferred compensationBachelor's degree and/or Paralegal CertificateExperience working in a boutique Family Law practiceThis role Offers:Competitive compensation of $40-$60 per hour, depending on experienceFully remote work environment for California-based employees, with Bay Area candidates preferredFlexible 40-hour workweek with a reasonable 30-hour weekly billable expectationMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) after one yearPaid time off, paid sick leave, paid holidays, and your birthday offMonthly work-from-home and Health & Wellness stipendsTravel reimbursementQuarterly team lunches with the remainder of the day offCollaborative, respectful culture with exceptional employee retentionOpportunity to build a long-term career with a growing boutique Family Law practice known for its professionalism, mentorship, and commitment to its people
