About the RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with a passion for building scalable, resilient systems that drive AI-powered innovation. You’ll be a key contributor to our backend architecture — designing APIs, scaling distributed systems, and collaborating closely with AI and product teams to bring cutting-edge ideas to production.This isn’t a role for someone who just wants to maintain the status quo. Collaborate with AI/ML teams to productionize models, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.Implement best practices for security, performance, and scalability across backend systems.Build robust observability — monitoring, logging, and alerting — for deployed applications.Partner with cross-functional teams (frontend, product management, DevOps, ML engineers) to deliver high-quality features on time.Stay on top of emerging technologies and advocate for smart adoption that keeps us ahead of the curve.Required Skills & Qualifications5+ years of professional backend development experience3+ years Python and Node.js experience required5+ Years of backend development experience5+ years of API design (REST and GraphQL) and microservices experience5+ years of multicloud experience, AWS + Azure required3+ years of Kubernetes experience3+ years of SQL and NoSQL experience2+ years of DevOps experienceAI/ML lifecycle experience requiredAsynchronous programming and event-driven architecture experienceHigh growth environment experiencePreferred (Nice-to-Have)Data engineering experienceHighly regulated enterprise experienceHands on experience with AI/ML frameworksAbout BSC AnalyticsAs the leader in advanced data analytics for highly regulated enterprises, BSC Analytics provides technical strategy and teams of exclusively senior talent to confront the toughest data challenges.
