POSITION OVERVIEW The Senior Director of Business Intelligence is a visionary leader responsible for shaping and executing Inspire’s enterprise BI strategy. This role focuses on driving organizational alignment around data-driven decision-making, ensuring that reporting and analytics deliver actionable insights for both daily operations and long-term strategic planning. The Senior Director will lead a high-performing BI team, foster collaboration across business units, and champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. While technical knowledge is important, this position emphasizes leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic influence over hands-on technical execution. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Enterprise Reporting & Strategic Direction Define and communicate the BI vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Oversee the development of enterprise reporting solutions and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and operational teams. Ensure reporting capabilities evolve to meet changing business needs and support strategic initiatives. • Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of BI professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Set clear objectives, manage priorities, and ensure timely delivery of key projects. Invest in team growth through coaching, career development, and succession planning. • Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and cross-functional teams, translating business needs into data-driven strategies. Build strong partnerships across Marketing, Finance, Operations, and other departments to ensure BI solutions deliver measurable business impact. • Change Management & Data-Driven Culture Champion the adoption of BI tools and analytics across the organization. Drive initiatives that enhance data literacy and empower stakeholders to make informed decisions. • Governance & Oversight Provide oversight for data governance and compliance standards, ensuring data integrity and trustworthiness. Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to maintain platform reliability and scalability without direct involvement in coding or system configuration. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Analytics, or related field; MBA strongly preferred. 12+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or related fields, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles. Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex projects in a fast-paced, matrixed organization. Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights to strategic outcomes. Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills; ability to engage with executives and non-technical stakeholders effectively. Experience managing vendor relationships and overseeing BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics Cloud) at a strategic level. Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices; ability to ensure compliance without hands-on technical execution. Demonstrated success in driving organizational change and building a data-driven culture.
