OverviewThe Consultant supports VHA’s mission by contributing to enterprise healthcare transformation initiatives aligned with leadership priorities. This role focuses on analysis, coordination, and execution support under the guidance of senior consultants and client leadership. The consultant works across program offices and field operations to support integrated solutions within evolving healthcare delivery environments.The work is fast-paced and often ambiguous, requiring adaptability, strong organization, and a willingness to learn as priorities shift in response to policy changes and emerging healthcare needs.Ansible is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing Federal customers with solutions in many arenas. Our customers face wide-ranging challenges in the fields of national security, health care, and information technology. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers’ success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesSupport senior consultants and client leaders in planning and executing healthcare transformation initiativesAssist with project management activities including scheduling, tracking actions, and managing deliverablesConduct research, data analysis, and stakeholder coordination to inform decision-makingHelp develop executive-ready briefings, presentations, and decision support materialsCoordinate with VHA program offices and field teams to support alignment and information flowTrack risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate as appropriateAdapt to shifting priorities and provide responsive support to program and project teamsQualifications3 to 5 years of experience in consulting, healthcare, or federal programsBachelor’s degree required, master’s degree a plusExposure to project or program management methodologies; certifications a plus but not requiredProficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)Experience supporting federal healthcare or VHA initiatives preferredStrong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detailClear written and verbal communication skillsProactive, dependable, and comfortable working in a team-based environmentAll candidates must be able toSit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceEqual Employment OpportunityAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
