We are currently recruiting for a Competency Leader - Generative AI (VP Role) for one of our key customers, a Nasdaq-listed data analytics and digital operations & solutions company that partners with clients to improve business outcomes and unlock growth.The Generative AI Competency Leader will be responsible for driving the growth and success of a practice focused on generative artificial intelligence (AI). This role requires a combination of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and leadership abilities to deliver innovative generative AI solutions to clients. The Practice Leader will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that leverage generative AI techniques across various domains.Key ResponsibilitiesPractice Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy for the generative AI practice aligned with the company’s overall business objectives; identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.Develop AI Strategy & offerings: Collaborate with clients to define their AI vision and goals; design customized AI strategies & offerings aligned with business objectives, industry trends, and technological advancements.Lead Implementation of AI Solutions: Lead implementation of AI solutions with cross-functional teams; define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables; ensure seamless integration into existing systems and processes.Provide Expert Guidance: Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and stakeholders; educate and raise awareness about AI best practices, potential risks, and ethical considerations.Lead AI Transformation: Drive AI transformation initiatives, including change management, training programs, and cultural shifts; foster a data-driven mindset and promote adoption across departments.Stay Current with AI Developments: Continuously research and evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies; provide up-to-date recommendations.Collaborate with AI Specialists: Work with AI specialists, data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop cutting-edge AI solutions; foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.Measure and Evaluate: Establish KPIs and metrics to track the effectiveness of AI initiatives; monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and provide insightful reports to clients.Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to clients; lead engagements including scoping projects, defining deliverables, and managing successful execution; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery within timelines and budgets.Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing team of data scientists, AI researchers, and engineers; foster collaboration, learning, and innovation; provide mentorship and guidance; conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and ensure productivity and effectiveness.Thought Leadership: Establish the company and generative AI practice as a thought leader through research publications, conference presentations, and contributions; contribute to intellectual property, methodologies, and best practices specific to generative AI.Key elements for the role15+ years of experience in generative AI, including hands-on experience with state-of-the-art generative models and techniques.Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering generative AI projects in industry settings.Strong knowledge of AI and machine learning algorithms, frameworks, and tools, with a specific focus on generative AI techniques.Understanding of data engineering and preprocessing techniques for generative AI models.Excellent leadership skills; ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage and influence clients and stakeholders.Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.EducationBachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, data science, artificial intelligence).
