Requirements and responsibilities


The Coast is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who can execute across the full digital marketing stack. You will be responsible for driving traffic, generating leads, and improving visibility across all digital channels for both our brand and our AI product portfolio. This is a hands-on execution role. You will run the campaigns, write the content, optimize the pages, manage the ads, and report on results. You will work directly with the CEO and Growth Marketing Lead to turn strategy into measurable outcomes. If you thrive on shipping work, tracking numbers, and improving performance week over week, this is your role. Key Responsibilities: SEO & Organic Growth: - Execute keyword research and implement on-page optimization across all company websites. - Optimize site structure, internal linking, meta tags, and page content for crawlability and search performance. - Draft and publish SEO-friendly blog posts, landing pages, and product content. - Conduct regular site audits and competitor keyword tracking. - Track and report on organic traffic, keyword rankings, and domain authority. Email Marketing & Lead Generation: - Build and manage email campaigns: newsletters, drip sequences, outbound outreach, and automation workflows. - Build and maintain prospect lists, audience segments, and nurturing campaigns. - A/B test subject lines, content, and send times to improve open rates, click rates, and conversions. - Track and report on email performance with actionable insights. Paid Advertising: - Set up, manage, and optimize paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads. - Manage ad budgets, audience targeting, creative testing, and bid optimization. - Build and optimize landing pages aligned with ad campaigns. - Set up conversion tracking (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, UTM parameters) and report on campaign ROI. Content Marketing: - Produce compelling content across blogs, case studies, social posts, and email campaigns. - Align content with SEO strategy and lead generation goals. - Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform content direction. - Stay current on digital marketing trends, AI marketing tools, and platform algorithm changes. Qualifications: Required: - 3+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience across at least two of the following: SEO, email marketing, paid ads, content marketing. - Proven results: show us traffic growth, keyword improvements, lead generation, or campaign ROI you personally drove. - Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or equivalent). - Experience running paid campaigns on Google Ads, Meta Ads, or LinkedIn Ads with budget management. - Strong content writing skills with the ability to produce SEO-optimized, engaging copy. - Data-driven mindset with the ability to track KPIs, analyze performance, and adjust based on results. - Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment with high ownership and minimal hand-holding. Preferred: - Experience marketing AI products, SaaS platforms, or technology companies. - Experience with email marketing and automation tools (HubSpot, Apollo, Mailchimp, or equivalent). - Familiarity with website management platforms (WordPress, Webflow, or equivalent). - Experience with landing page optimization and conversion rate optimization (CRO). - HubSpot or SEMrush certifications.
