Responsibilities

About the Opportunity: - Our client is a digital marketing agency helping businesses grow through websites, SEO, online advertising, social media, and AI-powered automation. - They are looking for a driven, self-starting sales professional to grow their client base. - This is an outbound sales role for someone who generates and qualifies their own leads, works the phones and inbox, and turns cold contacts into booked discovery calls. - If you already know how to sell and want uncapped earning potential, this is your seat. Role Summary: - As the Sales & Business Development Representative, you own outbound pipeline generation. - You will run outbound prospecting, build a referral pipeline, and book the discovery calls that fuel growth. - A light marketing component—outbound email campaigns and simple supporting graphics—supports your selling, but the heart of this role is bringing in new business. Key Responsibilities: - Book discovery calls. Set a minimum of 4–5 new discovery calls each month. - Work every lead. Maintain at least six touch points per lead across calls and email. - Drive outbound activity. Make outbound prospecting calls (often 20+ on a heavy call day) to keep the pipeline moving. - Qualify and hand off. Run your own qualification calls and move qualified prospects into the marketing-review stage. - Execute email marketing. Build and send outbound campaigns using the agency’s email marketing and automation tools, and follow up by phone and email with contacts who open or click. - Create supporting assets. Produce simple graphics and email content to accompany outbound marketing. - Stay accountable. Set and review goals in weekly (and, during onboarding, daily) check-ins. Position Requirements: - Proven sales experience—a confident, coachable self-starter who can take a script, leads, and onboarding materials and run with them. - Genuinely active on social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.). This is non-negotiable given the nature of the work. - Comfortable with online tools, with the ability to learn email automation and basic graphic tools. - Goal-oriented and motivated by a performance-based structure. - Background in marketing or social media marketing. - Experience with marketing automation and/or CRM platforms. Compensation & Benefits: - Structure. $11/hour base plus 20% commission on sales. - Ramp expectation. The first 90 days are a proving period; strong performers earn increases. If no sales are produced within the first 90 days, the role moves to 100% commission. - Earning potential. Uncapped commission — top performers earn well. - Support provided. Structured onboarding, a lead source, scripts, and a company computer if needed. First 15 Days: - Meet daily with your manager to onboard, learn the offering, and get set up with leads, scripts, and tools. - Begin building your prospect list and outbound cadence. - Shadow initial discovery calls, then start running your own qualification conversations. - Transition into the standard cadence: goal-setting at the start of each week, review at the end.
