We are hiring an experienced IT Security Specialist 2 for a fully remote opportunity.State Client Experience RequiredCandidates must have prior experience working with State Government clients or State client environments, including enterprise security, vulnerability management, compliance, patch management, or infrastructure security initiatives.Required Experience10 years of experience in network security, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management10 years of hands on experience administering Qualys, vulnerability remediation documentation, and patch management processes10 years of experience with Microsoft SCCM or MECM administrationExperience with vulnerability scan reports, remediation tracking, risk assessment, and compliance documentation is highly preferredKey ResponsibilitiesPlan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect enterprise data, systems, and networksRespond to system and network security incidents and breachesDesign and maintain enterprise SCCM or MECM patching strategies for Windows endpoints and supported server environmentsCreate and manage SCCM device collections, deployment groups, maintenance windows, software update groups, and deployment schedulesIntegrate Qualys vulnerability information with SCCM patching data to identify vulnerable systems requiring remediationPerform vulnerability first remediation by identifying affected assets and determining the appropriate patch, configuration change, software upgrade, or compensating controlAnalyze patch compliance, deployment status, failed installations, pending reboots, missing updates, and non reporting devicesManage Software Update Points, WSUS synchronization, Software Update Groups, deployment packages, and Automatic Deployment RulesTroubleshoot SCCM client installation, client health, policy retrieval, software update scanning, deployment evaluation, and content download issuesDevelop emergency patch deployment procedures for critical or actively exploited vulnerabilitiesPackage and deploy third party application updates and security fixesDevelop and maintain SCCM operational runbooks, patching procedures, troubleshooting guides, deployment standards, and rollback proceduresPerform scheduled and ad hoc vulnerability scans across networks, servers, and endpointsAnalyze vulnerability scan results, tune scans, and reduce false positivesWork with server, endpoint, security, network, and application teams to resolve remediation dependenciesDevelop vulnerability metrics, dashboards, and executive level security reportsEvaluate security requirements and establish security best practices and standardsplease share your updated resume or contact us @Lavanya@topsysit.com
