Osprey Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Cleared Technical Recruiter/Sourcer to support high-priority hiring efforts across the defense and national security space. This is a 1099, commission-only opportunity designed for an established sourcing professional who already operates independently and is equipped with the tools and systems needed to succeed.This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and qualifying technical talent with active security clearances for mission-critical programs across software engineering, systems engineering, data, and related disciplines.This is a results-based recruiting role. How you identify, engage, and build pipelines is entirely up to you. There is no prescribed sourcing methodology, no required tools, and no day-to-day oversight of your process. Success in this role is measured by output and impact, not activity.This opportunity is well-suited for experienced recruiters who are already working full-time and looking to generate additional income through high-impact placements. You have the flexibility to operate on your own schedule while leveraging your existing tools, network, and expertise.The ideal candidate is already operating at a high level, understands the cleared hiring landscape, and can build and manage pipelines without direction. You are comfortable working autonomously in a performance-driven environment where execution directly correlates to earnings.Responsibilities:Identify and engage candidates with active Secret and Top Secret clearances across technical disciplinesDevelop and execute your own sourcing strategies using your existing tools, networks, and approachBuild and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates aligned to current and future hiring needsConduct initial outreach and screening to assess technical alignment, clearance status, compensation expectations, and availabilityCollaborate with leadership on role prioritization and market feedback, while maintaining full ownership of your sourcing approachMaintain accurate tracking of candidate activity and pipeline progressProvide insight into talent market conditions, candidate availability, and competitive dynamicsRequired Qualifications:Proven experience sourcing cleared technical talent within the defense, intelligence, or government contracting spaceStrong understanding of security clearance levels and requirementsDemonstrated ability to identify and engage engineers and other technical professionalsMust already possess and be proficient with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, or equivalent platformsAbility to operate independently in a commission-only environment with no structured oversightStrong written communication skills for candidate outreachCompensation:100 percent commission, 1099 contractorLocation:Remote - preference given to candidates located in Charleston, South Carolina or the DMV area.
