Requirements and responsibilities

Responsibilities: - Build and maintain the API gateway, service mesh, and integration adapters. - Implement event streaming pipelines across banking services. - Develop and manage integrations with external systems (core banking, payment networks, vendors). - Ensure integrations meet reliability, observability, and security standards. - Collaborate with Enterprise Architect on API contract adherence. - Produce technical documentation for integrations and data flows. Skills and Experience: - Strong backend engineering skills in one or more of: Java, Go, Python, Node.js. - Experience building API gateways and service mesh configurations (Kong, Apigee, Istio, or similar). - Proficiency with event streaming platforms (Kafka, Pulsar, or equivalent). - Experience with REST, GraphQL, and AsyncAPI contract design. - Banking or fintech integration experience preferred. - Strong async communication and remote-work discipline. - English fluency.
