If you’re driven by purpose, energized by organizing and leading high-impact initiatives, and motivated to build processes and projects that empower teams and advance organizational priorities, this is the role for you.Role SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and passionate Marketing Email and Content Manager responsible for developing and executing Crisis Text Line’s content and email strategy, overseeing the creation, editing, and distribution of content across various platforms like donor emails, website, blogs, and social media, ensuring it aligns with brand identity and targets the appropriate audience to achieve marketing goals. The ideal candidate is a skilled and passionate storyteller with a strong understanding of SEO and data/email marketing analytics.Key ResponsibilitiesCrisis Text Line is a fast moving, growing organization with a big vision and a critical mission. To serve our mission and vision, each role must be agile and flexible to meet the needs of the business, aligning their work with priorities as defined by their manager and team leaders.Support creation and implementation of a comprehensive content strategy aligned with organizational goals.Craft persuasive narratives that drive growth across business targets (e.g., donors, volunteers, texters).Oversee and develop email marketing donor strategy that drives fundraising by designing, executing and optimizing email campaigns targeted at acquiring, engaging and retaining donors. Write engaging content for marketing campaigns, blogs, articles, videos, social media posts, newsletters, and multimedia assets.Collaborate with the marketing team and other departments such as philanthropy, public policy and research to align content on campaign strategy and organizational objectives.Integrate optimized content for search engines and user engagement.Monitor content performance, gathering analysis and adjusting strategies based on data insights.Ensure all content aligns with the organization’s voice, tone, brand and values. Minimum Qualifications3-5 years of professional content management including SEO, email marketing and copywriting experienceExceptional storytelling ability, with experience crafting narratives that elicit emotional responses that convert to action.Ability to write for different platforms (emails, social media, website, print) and adjust tone and style for different audiences (donors, staff, partners, volunteers).A deep understanding of email marketing best practices, and the ability to analyze data to optimize campaigns.Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines while driving work forward with strong prioritization, follow-through, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.Applied experience using analytics and performance data to refine and improve content.Strong editing and proofreading skills to ensure high-quality, error-free content.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams.Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in or with nonprofit organizations.Proven success supporting content-driven campaigns that drive engagement, fundraising, or audience growth.Experience with digital tools, email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Salesforce), and content management systems.Experience using project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Monday.com to manage timelines, approvals, and campaign workflows.Reliable High-Speed Internet Required: Must have a stable high-speed internet connection to support seamless remote collaboration, virtual meetings, online job tasks, etc.For United States-based candidates: The target salary range for this position, across the United States, is $67,452–$80,351. Starting salary will vary based on location, qualifications, and prior experience. Candidates will learn the range specific to their location during the interview process.
