Responsibilities

BESS Project ManagerG2 are supporting a large German EPC to recruit a Freelance Project Manager to oversee specialised BESS construction projects, in particular for the Mitnetz area.Responsibilities:Leading the delivery of utility‑scale BESS projects from early construction through commissioning and handover.Coordinating civil, mechanical and electrical workstreams, ensuring alignment with design, project plans and EPC requirements.Managing subcontractors, ensuring safe, compliant and timely installation of all BESS components and infrastructure.Overseeing documentation, project KPIs, risk management, stakeholder communication and on‑site decision‑making.Ensuring all works comply with design drawings, project specifications and contractual obligations.Requirements to be considered:Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical discipline.Proven experience as a Project Manager on utility‑scale BESS construction projects.Strong understanding of construction sequencing, EPC processes, and multi‑discipline project delivery.Strong communication and reporting skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.Right to work in Germany.For more information please apply or send your CV to harry.nudd@g2recruitment.com
