We are expanding to new frontiers to find the brightest that work in AI infrastructure, research and engineering.The RoleWe're hiring our second lawyer — and the first member of the legal team to report to our General Counsel. This is a rare seat for a top-firm associate, or a lawyer with early in-house experience, ready to take on real ownership from day one. You'll negotiate revenue-critical deals from the start, develop judgment across the full range of an in-house legal function, and work closely with the GC on the matters that move the business.Just as important, we are building the legal function for a new era of law. We adopt modern tools aggressively, and we build our own where they don't yet exist. We expect this role to help lead that effort. We're also open to strong candidates from other backgrounds who can adapt quicklyCredentials: J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. stateFoundation: A foundation in commercial contracts and corporate matters, or the ability to develop one quicklyDrive: Highly motivated and quick to learn, with a strong appetite for feedback and professional growthAI-native mindset: Openness to an AI-native way of working — curiosity about how AI and modern tools are reshaping legal practice, and enthusiasm to help build it.
