Join us as we transform immunology and deliver medicines that help autoimmune patients get their lives back. argenx is preparing for multi-dimensional expansion to reach more patients through a rich pipeline of differentiated assets, led by VYVGART, our first-in-class neonatal Fc receptor blocker approved for the treatment of gMG, and with the potential to treat patients across dozens of severe autoimmune diseases.For the expansion of our international Digital Technology team, argenx is looking for a Global DT Lead Development.PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTIONThis role will act as the strategic technology leader and primary business partner for Development capabilities within Digital Technology. It is accountable for defining and executing the technology vision, roadmap, and value delivery that enable clinical development, trial execution, and data-driven decision-making across the portfolio.The Global DT Lead Development translates scientific and operational development needs into a scalable and future-fit digital ecosystem. This role drives innovation, ensures regulatory-compliant solutions, and champions co-creation to accelerate the delivery of therapies to patients.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDefine the technology vision and multi-year roadmap for Development in alignment with R&D and clinical strategyAct as the strategic interface between DT and Development leadership, ensuring strong alignment on priorities and outcomesGovern the portfolio of Development technology initiatives, from ideation and prioritization to value realization and benefit trackingLead the delivery of a coherent digital ecosystem supporting clinical trials, data platforms, and Development operationsAct as senior advisor on Development technologies (e.g., clinical systems, data platforms), translating complex scientific and operational needs into scalable solutionsEnsure all solutions meet regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, data integrity, validation) and adhere to quality standardsDrive innovation and continuous improvement in Development processes through digital capabilities and data leverageFoster strong cross-functional collaboration across Development, Data, Regulatory, Quality, and external partnersLead complex programs and manage dependencies across a global and matrixed environmentChampion a culture of co-creation, accountability, and outcomes-driven delivery within the DT Development capabilityBuild, lead and develop a high-performing global dt development team, including talent development, performance management, and succession planningShape and embed the operating model for development within the dt organization (ways of working, governance, value tracking)Build and maintain strategic partnerships with development technology vendors, ensuring a deep understanding of their capabilities, product roadmaps, and innovation agendas to inform technology decisions and maximize business value.SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESDeep understanding of clinical development processes, including clinical trials, study execution, and regulatory requirementsStrong experience with Development-related platforms (e.g., clinical systems, data platforms, analytics environments)Proven ability to define and execute multi-year technology strategies and roadmaps in a complex, regulated environmentStrategic mindset with the ability to translate complex scientific and operational challenges into actionable technology solutionsStrong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leadership in global organizationsAbility to operate in a high level of ambiguity and drive clarity, alignment, and decisionsDemonstrated leadership in cross-functional, global teams, fostering collaboration and accountabilityExcellent communication and influencing skills in a multi-cultural environmentStrong focus on outcomes, value realization, and continuous improvementEDUCATION, EXPERIENCEMaster’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field10+ years of experience in Digital Technology / IT within a biopharmaceutical or life sciences environmentStrong experience supporting Clinical Development, R&D, or related GxP-regulated domainsProven track record in leading large-scale technology portfolios and transformation programsExperience working with senior stakeholders in Development, R&D, or Clinical Operations within a global organizationStrong people leadership capabilities, with experience building and scaling global teamsAbility to work collaboratively and effectively together within cross-functional teams and networksDemonstrated communication skills, within a multi-cultural and multi-lingual global environmentDerives energy from operating in a dynamic, complex, fast-moving, and frequently changing business environmentDemonstrable experience with project management, proactive planning, priority setting, and securing alignmentPassionate and prepared to lead and contribute to our culture, which is driven by our corporate values of co-creation, innovation, empowerment, excellence, and humility.OtherMin 20% TRAVEL REQUIREDNote: The recruiter will share the locally applicable annual base salary hiring range, provided in your country’s currency, during the recruitment process.
