Key Responsibilities:
• End-to-End Project Leadership: Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of product development projects using structured SDLC and Agile frameworks.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Awareness: Collaborate closely with architects and DevOps teams to ensure AWS-hosted solutions are cost-optimized, secure, and scalable.
• Agile Management: Own Jira board creation, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives while ensuring transparent reporting of progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build trust with executives, technical teams, and business leaders, ensuring alignment of project goals with company strategy.
• Cross-Cultural Leadership: Lead and inspire diverse global teams across multiple time zones, promoting inclusivity, accountability, and high performance.
• Automation & Innovation: Champion the use of AI tools, workflow automation, and emerging technologies to streamline processes, reduce overhead, and enhance productivity.
• Risk & Issue Management: Anticipate project risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies while maintaining project health.
• Governance & Reporting: Provide clear updates through MS Office/Teams/Power BI dashboards, ensuring leadership visibility into ROI, KPIs, and delivery health.
• Quality Assurance: Partner with QA and engineering teams to establish and enforce best practices, testing standards, and compliance.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize frameworks, tools, and communication strategies to drive efficiency and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 10+ years of Project Management experience, with at least 5 years managing complex, global, multi-framework product builds.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and ability to adapt frameworks based on project needs.
• Proven expertise in Agile practices, Jira management, and backlog ownership.
• Experience in AWS environments, including cloud-native product builds, cost optimization, and collaboration with cloud architects.
• Strong communication & influence skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders.
• Proactive and perceptive leader, anticipating challenges and resolving them before they escalate.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI tools and automation trends (e.g., workflow automation platforms, AI copilots, analytics/observability tools).
• Fluency in MS Tools (MS Project, Excel, Teams, Power BI, SharePoint) for collaboration, reporting, and presentations.
• Track record of successfully delivering complex products from scratch within budget, scope, and timeline.
• Cross-cultural leadership experience, managing distributed teams across LATAM, North America, EMEA, or APAC.
• Change management and stakeholder alignment expertise for environments in transformation or modernization.
