Requirements and responsibilities


🚀 Description: ◽ The Designer will be a hybrid role with components of both Web Design and Graphic Design responsibilities. This team member will work directly and build a strong rapport with BSE staff, clients, and at times, outside contractors to ensure the successful and timely delivery of all design projects. Success is achieved when the Designer partners both internally and externally to develop a beautifully designed and functional final product within budget and scope. ◽ The Designer will oversee specific aspects of web and graphic design projects, which include communicating often and clearly, setting internal and external deadlines, monitoring deliverables, updating tools such as task management and CRM, and summarizing the progress of projects to stakeholders. This role will work within multiple teams, including but not limited to, Implementation (50%), Learning & Development (25%), and Marketing (25%). At times the specified % breakdown may shift due to varying needs. 🟣 Requirements: ◽ At least three years of experience as a web designer. ◽ Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. ◽ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ◽ English proficiency is critical. ◽ Experience with marketing design. ◽ Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and shift between those based on the needs of the stakeholders. ◽ Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing web design and HTML coding proficiency. ◽ Strong understanding of HTML and CSS coding languages, at least three years of professional experience with them. ◽ Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members. ◽ Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. ◽ A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and design techniques. ◽ Currently living in Latin America. ◽ Proficiency in graphic design software, particularly InDesign, and advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). ◽ Working knowledge of CMS platforms (WebFlow, WordPress). ◽ Proficient in Office 365. ◽ Proficient in a project management tool like Asana or TaskRay. ◽ Some experience with After Effects, Premiere — Nice to Have. ◽ Instructional design experience with tools such as; Zoom, Articulate 360 Suite, Adobe. ◽ Learning products such as captivate, Movie Maker Pro, etc. a bonus. 🟣 Key Responsibilities: ◽ Path LMS Design (Web) (50%): → Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, goals, and branding guidelines. → Design visual concepts, initial ideas or overarching themes to guide the design process, using graphic design tools, with proficiency in design software (InDesign preferred) that align with the client's goals. → Select colors, fonts, photographs, layouts, and other design elements to communicate creative concepts. → Leverage your understanding of HTML coding to implement design elements and create visually cohesive and responsive web pages within the Path LMS. → Collaborate with the team to deliver projects within designated timelines. → Participate in, and at times lead, client meetings to gather project requirements and present design concepts. → Ensure design solutions effectively communicate the client's message and enhance user experience. → Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. → Develop a detailed project plan using a project management tool, such as Asana or similar tool, to monitor and track progress. → Manage changes to the project scope and project schedule as needed. ◽ Learning & Development (Graphic) (25%): → Transform written materials into visually appealing PPT decks that align with the client’s brand and style guide. → Ability to hear the client’s vision for the look and feel of the product and execute on that vision. → Create brand materials such as logos, illustrations, and other graphic design elements that will enhance the client’s materials. → Create PPT decks that are appropriate for interactive eLearning (specifically, Articulate Storyline). → Provide guidance on font, colors, and images when clients do not have a fully developed brand guide. ◽ Marketing (Web & Graphic) (25%): → Maintain consistent brand representation across all visual mediums and contribute to a comprehensive design system that can be easily translated across all internal and external channels. → Design web-optimized graphic assets for all digital media. → Create templates and graphics for email marketing campaigns and assisted with responsive HTML email design. → Create replicable social media post templates, ad graphics, and one-off visual assets to help us grow our brand presence. → Design compelling long- and short-form marketing materials (eBooks, whitepapers, sell sheets, PowerPoint presentations, etc.), and creating templates for replication. → Design collateral that amplifies our brand presence for virtual and in-person events, conferences, and trade shows, including booth designs, signage, collateral pieces, branded SWAG, etc. → Create highly engaging videos that help market our products and services using both video footage and motion graphics. 🟣 Benefits: ◽ Work Remote Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends). ◽ Vacation: 10 business days a year. ◽ Holidays: 5 National Holidays a year. ◽ Company Holidays: 5 Company Holidays a year (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Zipdev Day). ◽ Parental Leave. ◽ Health Care Reimbursement. ◽ Active Lifestyle Reimbursement. ◽ Quarterly Home Office Reimbursement. ◽ Payroll Deduction Purchase Plans. ◽ Longevity Bonus. ◽ Continuous Learning Bonus. ◽ Access to Training and Professional Development Platforms. ◽ Did we mention its REMOTE?
