About the jobData Scientists (AI Lab) We are looking for a Data Scientist with experience in Computer Vision to join Arion's dynamic team! If you thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment, value and harness your teammates' opinions & expertise to deliver excellence, then come be a part of our team!DO YOU FIT THIS DESCRIPTION?Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related field.Proven experience (3+ years) in training deep learning models in PyTorch, using AWS S3 and SageMaker (including SageMaker Experiments). Proven experience doing so in image segmentation tasks is valuable (e.g. through Github repositories or code examples).In-depth knowledge of image segmentation techniques with deep learning (e.g., SAM, U-Net, FCN).Extensive Python and PyTorch development skills, and Git version control experience.Experience using Large Language Models (e.g. OpenAI, Gemini, etc.) using Langchain or Llama-Index is also highly valuable.Ability to write highly optimized and maintainable code.Excellent problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Fluency in English.WHAT WILL YOU DO?Design ML solutions to challenging problems in Computer Vision.Finetune, calibrate, evaluate and deploy a pre-trained computer vision model using proprietary data and deploy it on AWS infrastructure (e.g., reading data from S3 buckets using SageMaker).Prompt Engineer solutions for LLM enabled applications, including RAG and Agent based challenges.Design and develop ML algorithms to analyze vast volumes of historical data to make predictions.Join our internal project to solve complex problems with multi-layered data sets and optimize existing machine learning libraries and frameworks.Document machine learning processes and architectures.Engage in client-facing conversations to elicit requirements and understand business needs and challenges from an ML perspective.We’re currently taking applications from candidates living in Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Bogotá, Lima and São Paulo.WHAT YOU WILL GET:26 Days Off every year.Competitive USD salary.Work remotely for US companies from wherever you are!Double birthday present!
