Position SummaryThis role is responsible for MEP type projects, creating CAD and Revit drawings for review and managing deadlines for deliverables. A strong technical background in power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems, combined with the skills to produce complex engineering project documents from conception through construction.Pay : $80,000 - $110,000The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to acquire.Experience: 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering design for buildings (commercial, public schools, healthcare, or higher education).Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.Knowledge: Deep understanding of current building codes, National Electric Code and standards relevant to the design of electrical systems. Working knowledge of electrical components, methods and techniques.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementPlan and manage time effectively to ensure on-time delivery of assigned projects.Mentor and assist in the professional development of junior engineers and designers.Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant building codes, client guidelines and standards.Engineering & DesignDesign and draft electrical systems, including power distribution (208V, 240V, and 480V three-phase systems), lighting, and low-voltage systems.Utilize CAD and Revit to create comprehensive construction documents for a variety of project types including but not limited to the End Of Life Program.Perform detailed electrical calculations, including lighting levels, voltage drop, and load analysis.Perform Power System Studies utilizing SKM/ETAP (Arc-Flash/Short-Circuit/Selective Coordination).Conduct detailed field investigations of existing facility electrical systems.Client Relations & Business DevelopmentDirectly interface with Owners, Utilities, Engineers, Procurement, Construction and facility employees to ensure project goals are met.Work as a Team with other Engineers on projects to ensure standards are met.Construction AdministrationProvide construction administration services, including Bill of Material (BOM) reviews, substantial and final completion reports, and troubleshooting.Professional AttributesProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and client interaction.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in construction documentation. About RavenVolt, an ABM CompanyRavenVolt is a turnkey energy solutions and construction (EPC) management provider, specializing in providing tailored onsite energy solutions to increase energy reliability and resilience while minimizing long-term operational costs.
