Requirements and responsibilities


Data & Database Architect to design and manage enterprise-grade database architecture and governance on Azure. Responsibilities include defining schema governance and database standards, designing replication and high availability, implementing backup and restore architecture (PITR), managing database migration strategies, and establishing data masking and security standards. Works closely with engineering teams to optimize database performance. Core skills include Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, SQL Failover Groups, PITR, Data Modeling, Flyway / Liquibase, Azure Backup, and ADLS. Preferred certifications: DP-203 – Azure Data Engineer Associate; DP-300 – Azure Database Administrator Associate. Immediate joiners preferred; resume to ashik.syed@iagami.com.
