The responsibilities of this position are:
• Design technical solutions for complex business and engineering problems, driving architectural designs across multiple technical and business areas.
• Lead complex technical and strategic discussions involving multiple people, including engineering, product, business operations, and other stakeholders.
• Develop trusted partnerships with developers, business partners, product and architecture leaders to optimize platform and product delivery.
• Build, guide, and empower a community of engineers and act as a central resource to provide guidance on complex projects and problems.
• Evaluate and leverage technology, where appropriate, from existing global solutions within the ecosystem to build and leverage scalable and innovative solutions.
• Design and help develop solutions such as platforms or SaaS-type services that can be easily used by other business units and businesses.
• Possess a high sense of urgency to solve problems and execute them responsibly.
• Work with globally distributed teams, influencing technical decisions, shaping the design of Global Platforms, and adapting to local market needs.
• Serve as a leader in engineering and operational excellence, driving improvements in software delivery maturity and systems operational readiness.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computing, or similar.
• Advanced English.
• 10+ years of software development experience and 5+ years as a Technical Architect (or equivalent individual contributor, technical leadership roles).
• Engineering experience with large-scale product development using open-stack architectures and modern cloud-native architectures (Azure, GCP).
• Experience with modern software development and delivery methodologies (DevOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Automation).
• Knowledge of modern programming languages and development frameworks (Java, Go, NodeJS, Typescript, Python, React, Spring Boot, Rust, etc.).
• Experience with modern cloud-native architectures (Containers, Kubernetes, Serverless Functions, Event-Driven Architectures).
• Experience building domain-oriented multi-tenant architectures.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
• Experience or demonstrated ability to drive technical vision and provide technical mentorship to engineering talent at all levels. Must have strong credibility as an advisor on complex technical projects and issues.
• Experience building SaaS-type services and platforms will be a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with AI/ML technologies (LLMs, multimodal models, etc.).
