Blockworks is a fast-growing financial media brand that delivers news and insights about bitcoin and crypto to millions of investors. Our editorial site, research, newsletters, podcasts and events provide investors with the critical analysis and information they need to make smarter decisions about digital assets. As the Content Director for Institutional Events at Blockworks, you will spearhead the creation and curation of compelling agendas for Blockworks’ cornerstone event, the Digital Asset Summit, along with other related events and webinars. You will work closely with the events, content, and leadership teams to craft narratives that drive momentum forward in the rapidly evolving space of digital assets. This role offers an incredible opportunity for someone passionate about the institutional landscape to foster new ties with the upper echelon of the industry and make a significant impact. Responsibilities: - Craft agendas for the Digital Asset Summit (DAS) and Permissionless’ Institutional Track - Collaborate with leadership to establish overarching themes and determine event topics and session titles - Recruit and book speakers - Set and manage event schedules - Conduct calls with sponsors to propose panelist placements - Cultivate and manage relationships with sponsors and speakers - Coordinate and lead preparatory calls and follow-up emails - Ensure speakers have on-site logistics in place through coordination via invites and emails - Work with the events team and external production company to oversee speakers during events and ensure smooth logistics - Develop content for and moderate webinars - Gather sponsor inputs and create webinar topics and descriptions - Compile potential speaker lists for sponsor consideration - Extend invitations to relevant guests - Coordinate and lead preparatory calls and follow-up emails
