We are proactively seeking a motivated entry-level Accounting Associate who is goal-oriented and excited about career advancement. This individual will work directly with our experienced team of CPAs and startup clients. In this role, you will manage day-to-day financial tasks and ensure accurate and timely record-keeping. This is an excellent opportunity to gain financial accounting experience and work with exciting and growing startup companies. This is a hybrid role working from a co-working space in Orlando, FL or Tampa, 2 days a week and would prefer the candidate to be in the Central Florida area. Responsibilities: - Work closely with internal teams and startup clients to help drive process improvement. - Assist with all aspects of accounting, from recording transactions and ad-hoc analyses. - Process AP, AR, and other transactions - Perform bank and other reconciliations - Update/create supporting schedules for financial statements - Process payroll for clients - Perform month-end close activities - Assist in all aspects of preparation for meetings with portfolio companies - Complete ad-hoc projects as assigned by the manager - Just to name a few.
