As an AppSec specialist, you will focus on the security side of our application and improve our product security maturity. You will work within our engineering teams to design and review technical solutions, deep dive into security subjects, review code issues, and provide technical expertise to the GRC and DevOps team. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to plan, prioritize, and manage our Application Security roadmap. We are looking for someone with a passion for application security, strong communication skills, and a pragmatic approach to security. If you are a subject matter expert in application security and have experience with server-side languages, security libraries, and common security flaws, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities: - Design and review technical solutions to address security weaknesses within our engineering teams - Deep dive into security subjects related to authentication, encryption, and partner integrations - Review and understand issues in code from our managed bug bounty program and provide guidance to developers on how to fix them - Provide technical expertise to the GRC and DevOps team in developing and maintaining security automation in the CI/CD pipeline
