The Administrative Assistant, Marketing at Sony Music Entertainment is responsible for providing administrative support to the Marketing Department for Ultra Records and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the department. The role involves scheduling meetings, arranging travel, acting as a liaison between various departments and contacts, maintaining relationships with vendors, artists, and management, creating and maintaining mailing and e-mail lists, databases, and files, and assisting with various marketing activities. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and organized individual with previous admin experience in marketing or a related field. Being passionate about electronic music is a plus! Responsibilities: - Schedule meetings, arrange travel, and provide admin support for the Marketing Department. - Act as a liaison between Product Managers, Finance department, and a wide array of internal and external contacts. - Build and maintain relationships with vendors, artists, management, marketing departments, executives, and other departments within the company. - Create and maintain mailing and e-mail lists, databases, files, and other assets for the department. - Assist with various marketing activities such as setting up artist buy links, pre-save campaigns, gathering metadata, and pitching music to DSP editors. - Take minutes for weekly meetings and update weekly status reports and sales information on behalf of Ultra artists. - Coordinate and manage budgets, promotional trips, travel, work orders, and marketing plans for artists. - Assist with setting up new vendors, creating purchase orders, processing invoices for payment, and maintaining and tracking marketing budgets.
