Build awareness of Oso to help achieve our mission to become the standard application authorization framework for developers. In this role, you will own our catalogue of in-person and virtual events and identify ways to incorporate our team, customers, and community into those opportunities! You will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing a comprehensive events strategy to connect with software engineers and industry influencers. Your day-to-day will be part events management and part content, working with our happy customers to create webinars and conference talks to promote Oso. Your role will involve managing a diverse range of events, from local developer conferences, to webinars and workshops, with the ultimate goal of fostering meaningful connections with the developer community and positioning Oso as the leader in Authorization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developer advocates to develop and implement a strategic events plan (both in-person and virtual) that maximizes Oso’s exposure amongst developers in our core markets
- Collaborate internally to identify community members who can serve as advocates and speakers at virtual and local developer events
- Research and identify relevant events, conferences, and sponsorships to maximize brand exposure
- Recycle events content to get more mileage out of every activity
