Requirements and responsibilities


Technical proposal & validation of: * Hardware product definition and technical product specification. * Hardware architecture (plan/execute de-risk experiments, compile evidence). * Key hardware components (create comparison matrices on performance/cost/availability/risk; run sample evaluations). * Success metrics for hardware products (KPIs, entry/exit criteria for phases). * Plans for development and manufacturing (EVT/DVT/PVT, ICT/FT coverage, acceptance criteria). Planning & tracking: * Maintain schedules. * Manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies. * Maintain action trackers. * Build readiness checklists across EVT/DVT/PVT. * Prepare weekly status reports (timeline, blockers, decisions needed); capture notes and assign/track actions. * Prepare weekly client updates and recaps. * Support PM in client communications. Supplier team coordination: * Convert requirements into factory/engineering tickets; follow up with the factory team to closure; track samples/fixtures and timelines; file defects and track to resolution. Documentation control: * Gather and version specifications, test plans, cashflows, SCH/Gerbers/BOMs, ECOs, fact sheet release bundles in PLM. * Ensure stakeholders use the latest revision. * Collect test results. * Assemble evidence for FCC/CE/RED with QA/compliance. Build & logistics: * Coordinate shipment/reception of prototypes, fixtures, and test kits. * Run build checklists, compile build reports, and post-build actions. Process hygiene: * Improve templates (specs, test plans, dashboards). * Drive small cost, reliability, and process improvements using build/return data. Technical: * Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of different electronics systems architecture and internal composition (memory, processors, microchips, sensors, power systems), including tablets, sensors, motors, cameras, and wearables. * Integration with gym, wellness, and fitness equipment. * Apply mechanical engineering skills for 3D design and CAD modeling (Fusion360, SolidWorks or equivalent) to support hardware development and prototyping.
