Job DescriptionTutor builds robotic systems that automate complex picking, packing, and handling tasks in real-world manufacturing and logistics environments across the U.S. Our robots are running in production today, and we move quickly. We’re scaling manufacturing and field operations, and we need a Parts Coordinator who can keep our supply chain tight, organized, and accurate.Inventory & Parts ManagementOwn the day-to-day management of the inventory roomMaintain accurate counts in ION and make sure the physical inventory always matches the systemReceive, QC, label, and store incoming partsIssue parts kits for production builds, field upgrades, repairs, and R&D requestsTrack and manage fast-moving consumables, hardware, and critical sparesShipping & LogisticsPrepare and ship parts for customer sites, techs on the road, and R&D buildsCoordinate with shipping carriers and ensure all shipments are labeled, documented, and trackedBuild outbound kits (upgrade kits, repair kits, replacement components) with zero defectsMaterials CoordinationWork closely with Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Engineering to identify shortages earlyFlag low stock levels and work with the Buyer to release PRsMake sure upgrade campaigns have every part staged and ready in advanceHelp maintain the AVL and support part transitions/obsolescenceQualityEnsure all incoming parts are QC’d—correct quantity, revision, finish, and labelingCommunicate defects or supplier issues immediatelyApply QC stamps and maintain traceability in IONWho You AreExtremely organized, detail-oriented, and reliableComfortable working in a fast-paced robotic hardware environmentExperience with inventory systems (ION/First Resonance is a plus)Able to lift 40+ lbs and move parts around the shopClear communicator who keeps Manufacturing and Maintenance unblockedA mindset of “quality over speed,” but with urgency and ownershipCan run with a process and improve it as we scaleNice to HaveExperience in robotics, hardware startups, or electromechanical assemblyFamiliarity with BOMs, part numbers, and engineering change processesShipping/receiving experience (UPS/FedEx/FEDEX Freight)Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical partsSalary Range$25 - $28 biweeklyFinal offer based on qualifications, experience, and skillsOvertime and on-call opportunities may be available based on field needsClosing DescriptionThis job is the backbone of hardware reliability.
