🚀 About the position:
⚡ Aerialoop is looking for a versatile software engineer who will take a major role in developing the backend and embedded applications for the Aerialoop drone operation. This will involve developing functional code, APIs, tests, and working with the team on continuous integration and deployment structures. Our drones are part of the IoT so this job also involves developing software on embedded linux systems for command and control and data pipelines.
The ideal candidate is a passionate software engineer who is eager to deliver both functional and user friendly applications. You are hands-on. You are eager to be "on the field" (literally, we operate drones!) with the team to understand the needs and gather requirements. Implementing scalable, enterprise-grade software and leveraging modern cloud infrastructure with micro services should be second nature to you.
🚀 Qualifications:
⚡ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar technical discipline .
⚡ Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
⚡ Great creative and innovative problem-solving skills.
⚡ Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment that includes working with changing needs and requirements.
⚡ Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.
🚀 Responsabilities:
⚡ Implement, extend and test backend API services containing business logic for operation and frontend systems.
⚡ Develop applications for embedded linux computers to connect our drones to the backend.
⚡ Work with DevOps to ensure continuous deployment and testing.
⚡ Work together with the technical team to discuss, extend and implement requirements from the business.
⚡ Maintain requirements and technical documentation.
⚡ Maintain the highest standards of excellence, never settle for the status quo.
