Learn more at elite.com.Position OverviewThis role is designed for an AI-fluent individual contributor who helps shape how Elite identifies, evaluates, and applies AI across both enterprise functions and product. The position partners closely with leaders and delivery teams to guide ideation around AI and agentic automation use cases, helping teams move from opportunity framing to practical implementation paths.The position combines hands-on technical depth with strong strategic judgment. It drives the exploration, experimentation, and rapid prototyping of emerging AI technologies, tools, and implementation patterns, while influencing the company’s broader AI direction through practical insight and demonstrated results. Rather than owning large-scale delivery directly, this role accelerates learning, informs decision-making, and helps establish scalable approaches that teams can adopt across the organization.ResponsibilitiesGuide business, product, and technology teams through ideation for AI and agentic automation opportunities, helping frame use cases, value hypotheses, feasibility, and implementation approachesDrive exploration of emerging AI technologies, tools, and patterns to assess their applicability across enterprise and product scenariosLead experimentation and rapid prototyping to validate new ideas, reduce uncertainty, and accelerate learning before broader investment or deliveryDevelop proof-of-concepts and reference implementations that demonstrate practical approaches for AI-enabled workflows, copilots, and agentic automationInfluence enterprise and product AI strategy by surfacing insights from experimentation, identifying patterns, and recommending high-value opportunities and technology directionsPartner with product, engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate promising ideas into scalable implementation plans and adoption pathsHelp define practical standards, reusable patterns, and guardrails for responsible AI and agentic solution designAct as a trusted internal advisor on AI trends, tradeoffs, and emerging capabilities, bringing a pragmatic perspective grounded in hands-on experienceBuild organizational confidence and fluency in AI by helping teams understand what is possible, what is practical, and how to move forward effectivelyReduce fragmentation by standardizing AI tools and approaches across teams while enabling innovation where it drives valueContribute thought leadership that strengthens Elite’s long-term AI vision while balancing innovation, practicality, security, and business valuePerform other duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience9+ years strong experience in AI/ML, software engineering, data platforms, solution architecture, or related technical roles, with demonstrated hands-on work in modern AI technologiesHands-on experience with Generative AI, including large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval patterns, orchestration frameworks, and AI-enabled workflow automationDemonstrated ability to explore new technologies quickly, build prototypes, and turn ambiguous ideas into practical recommendations and next stepsExperience guiding cross-functional teams through technical discovery, use case shaping, experimentation, and early implementation planningStrong understanding of emerging AI patterns such as copilots, multi-step orchestration, agentic workflows, evaluation approaches, and human-in-the-loop designAbility to influence senior stakeholders and strategy through clear communication, credible technical judgment, and practical insightExperience balancing innovation with responsible AI considerations, including data governance, security, compliance, and operational practicalityAbility to travel up 10–25% as business needs requireRole requires the following physical capacity: Sedentary: primarily desk/computer workMust be legally authorized to work in United States; Elite does not provide employment sponsorship for this positionBenefits:Competitive Compensation Package ($202,500-$225,000 base salary + variable component)Comprehensive Healthcare Coverage (Health, Dental, Vision)Retirement Savings Plan with an Employer ContributionProfessional Development OpportunitiesTime OffWellness InitiativesEmployee Assistance ProgramGenerous Global Parental LeaveCalm, free premium subscriptionEmployee Discount ProgramElite may use technology, including artificial intelligence-enabled tools, to assist in aspects of the recruiting and employment process.
