Fleet is well positioned to bring in-house design, engineering and operational capabilities to collaborate with customers on tailored solutions for campuses of 500MW+.  This unique model enables Fleet to provide the world’s largest and most sophisticated customers with a seamless extension of their own data center fleets with constant access to design innovation.Fleet Data Centers is seeking an experienced and results-driven Electrical Equipment Global Category Manager to lead the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of electrical equipment for our data center development projects. This role is responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle for key electrical systems including HV Transformers, transformers, Circuit Breakers, Instrument Transformers, generators, and MV/LV electrical distribution equipment. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in power generation, MW switchgear, MV transformers, UPS, LV Switchgear, building systems, ATS, PDU, and panel boards for mission critical environments.How will you make a difference?Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies aligned with organizational objectivesLead end-to-end RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) from initiation through supplier selection and awardConduct industry analysis and supply base assessments to evaluate supplier capacity and capabilitiesManage supplier onboarding, qualification, and new product development processesDrive supplier performance and relationship management (SPRM) initiativesAssess and mitigate supply chain risks through strategic planningOversee category lifecycle management and transition strategiesImplement sustainability and social responsibility initiatives within the supply chainMonitor and report on key performance metrics including cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement cycle timesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management3+ years focused on electrical systems or mission critical energy infrastructureDeep understanding of data center electrical systems and associated vendors (OEMs and integrators)Experience working in fast-paced, large-scale infrastructure or data center projectsProven track record in global procurement and supplier relationship managementStrong knowledge of supply chain management tools, data analytics, and BI toolsExcellent project management, contract management, change management and communication skillsKnowledge of sustainability and social responsibility in supply chainPreferred QualificationsMBA, MS in Supply Chain or advanced degree in engineering or other quantitative disciplinesCertifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or Six Sigma Black BeltProven track record in implementing process improvement initiatives and driving operational excellenceRequired TraitsIntegrity and Ethical Standards: Build trust, ensure fairness, and foster long-term, transparent relationships with suppliers. Effective Communication: The ability to clearly convey expectations and requirements to suppliers and negotiation parties, while understanding their needs and concerns.
