As part of the Core Automation Team, you will lead the implementation of AI-driven test automation strategies across Physician Experience (PEX) Engineering teams. The primary objective is to transition traditional automation approaches into intelligent, AI-accelerated workflows that significantly improve speed, scalability, and quality.You will work with cutting-edge tools includingWindsurf, Katalon Studio AI Assist, Playwright, GitLab, and Jenkins, helping engineering teams adopt a modern shift-left testing approach while ensuring robust automated validation of both UI and API functionalities.This role requires a strong blend of automation engineering, AI-assisted development, CI/CD integration, and cross-functional collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesAI-Powered Test AutomationDesign, develop, and implement AI-assisted test automation solutions usingWindsurf and Katalon Studio AI Assist.Drive the adoption of AI-generated and AI-enhanced automation frameworks across engineering teams.Reduce test script creation and maintenance effort by at least 50% through intelligent automation practices.Develop and maintain automated UI and API test suites for the OneView platform.Continuously evaluate emerging AI automation technologies and recommend improvements to existing testing processes.Shift-Left Quality EngineeringIntegrate automated testing early within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Enable developers and QA teams to execute automated smoke, regression, and validation tests at the Pull Request (PR) stage.Partner with development teams to establish quality gates and improve defect prevention.Promote automation best practices that improve software quality and accelerate release cycles.CI/CD Automation & Pipeline OrchestrationConfigure, trigger, and manage automated test executions through GitLab and Jenkins pipelines.Ensure seamless integration of automated testing within Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery workflows.Generate, analyze, and distribute daily automated testing reports and quality metrics to engineering leadership.Monitor execution results, identify failures, and drive rapid resolution of automation issues.Automation Framework DevelopmentBuild scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation frameworks supporting web, mobile, and API testing.Enhance framework capabilities to support AI-driven test generation, execution, and reporting.Implement best practices for test design, data management, and script governance.Cross-Functional CollaborationSupport feature delivery teams by providing automation expertise and hands-on testing support as needed.Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality objectives are achieved.Mentor team members on modern automation techniques and AI-enabled testing methodologies.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across automation and quality engineering functions.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree ineering, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio, Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent automation tools.Experience automating both UI and API testing.Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar platforms.Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
