The Tech Policy Analyst will work with the Tech team to produce policy research addressing key issues in tech policy that overlap with our core policy areas, especially transportation, education, regulation, government finance, and transparency. Possible research areas include municipal broadband, mobility as a service regulations, online education, government IT systems management, telecommunications, tech regulation, and others. On occasion, you might also be asked to write a policy memo and publish a column or blog post.A critical capability will be to work virtually with Reason teams on research and policy projects, including evaluating key research questions in real-time, and producing well-written analysis and commentary. The ideal candidate is a team player who is analytical, exceptionally resourceful, willing to tackle large projects independently, enjoys problem-solving, and pays close attention to detail.This role can be done virtually anywhere within the U.S. and is part of Reason's Fellowship Program. This is a full-time, paid position with benefits that lasts one year from your start date.
