Position SummaryPrometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner of federal health agencies. We are seeking a Scrum Master to facilitate agile delivery as the VA transitions to a modern EHR. The Scrum Master is the facilitator for the delivery team, ensuring the team follows agile processes and practices and promoting Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. This task order requires the Agile Release Train design to be staffed from within the requirement and calls for lean-agile practice to meet changing expertise requirements across Planning Intervals while maintaining team stability and performance. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesFacilitate agile ceremonies for the delivery team, including Planning Interval planning, iteration planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectivesEnsure the team follows agile processes and practices and promote Scrum theory, practices, rules, and valuesApply SAFe Lean-Agile principles and practices to drive value and sustain organizational change and operational excellenceSupport Agile Release Train operations staffed from resources within this requirementLeverage lean-agile principles to meet changing expertise requirements across Planning Intervals while maintaining team stability and performanceRemove impediments to delivery and escalate blockers requiring Program Manager or VHA actionMaintain and groom the backlog in coordination with informatics, change management, and communications workstreamsTrack and report iteration metrics, velocity, and delivery performance against the Quality Assurance Surveillance PlanCoordinate cross-team dependencies across the seven ORIS service categoriesSupport intake and triage of surge events into the delivery cadence without destabilizing committed workMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree requiredMinimum of five (5) years of experience as a Scrum Master or agile team facilitatorDemonstrated understanding of SAFe Lean-Agile principles and practicesExperience facilitating agile ceremonies for technical or informatics delivery teamsDemonstrated ability to remove impediments and manage cross-team dependenciesExperience operating in an environment with emergent, rapidly changing prioritiesStrong facilitation, coaching, and written and oral communication skillsAuthorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Low/NACI background investigation.Preferred QualificationCertified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certificationExperience supporting an Agile Release Train or SAFe implementation at enterprise scaleExperience supporting VHA, EHRM, or comparable federal health informatics programsExperience with Oracle Health (Cerner) deployment or post go-live operationsCompensation & BenefitsPFS offers a benefits package that may include health, dental, and vision coverage; flexible spending accounts; disability and life insurance; a retirement plan; paid time off; and other programs to support employees and their families.
