Position OverviewMetroSys is seeking an experienced Nutanix Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and cloud platform solutions. This is a client-facing, architect-level role responsible for driving strategy, architecture, and successful execution of Nutanix-based transformations across customer environments.The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who can engage stakeholders, design scalable solutions, and guide delivery teams through complex infrastructure modernization initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary technical advisor for Nutanix and HCI-related engagementsLead architecture design, workshops, and discovery sessions with clientsDesign and deliver Nutanix solutions across:AOS (Acropolis OS)AHV virtualizationPrism (Element/Central)Files, Objects, and Calm automationDevelop target-state architectures, migration strategies, and modernization roadmapsLead data center transformations, including:Legacy virtualization migrations (VMware/Hyper-V to AHV)Infrastructure consolidation and refreshDefine and implement high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection strategiesProvide oversight for deployment, configuration, and migration activitiesAct as escalation point for complex technical issues and architectural decisionsContribute to pre-sales efforts, including solution design, SOW development, and client presentationsProduce high-quality deliverables, including architecture diagrams, design documentation, and recommendationsRequired Qualifications8–12+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture or senior engineering rolesDeep expertise with:Nutanix AOS, AHV, and PrismHCI architecture and design principlesStrong understanding of:Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)Storage and compute architectureNetworking within HCI environmentsExperience leading enterprise infrastructure transformations and migrationsStrong client-facing and communication skillsPreferred SkillsNutanix certifications (NCP, NCM, NCA, etc.)Experience with Nutanix DR solutions (Leap, replication)Familiarity with automation and orchestration (Calm, APIs, scripting)Exposure to hybrid cloud or multi-cloud integrationsExperience in consulting or professional services organizations
