Job Description The on-site Restoration Technician is responsible for performing carpentry, painting, drywall, and related tasks on assigned sites as part of environmental services projects. Technicians handle on-site labor and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, coordinating with project managers as needed. Key Responsibilities Perform carpentry tasks including trim work, door hanging, base installation, mitering, casing installation, and cutting materials to specified measurements. Operate power tools and table saws safely and effectively. Deliver materials to job sites using company vehicles and maintain clean, organized work areas. Collaborate with project managers to ensure tasks are completed correctly and on schedule. Communicate professionally with property owners and project stakeholders, especially during loss events. Carry out painting tasks such as textures, spray applications, and roller finishes as needed. Install drywall, tape and mud joints, sand to achieve a smooth finish, and feather drywall into existing walls. Match stains and apply finishes with proper technique. Demonstrate knowledge of general construction practices and property damage restoration methods. Contribute to on-call board-up rotations and respond to emergencies as required. Take direction from the assigned manager and provide regular updates. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience Levels and Training Level 1 (T-1): 0-1 year of experience in restoration or related carpentry; OSHA 10 Safety Certification required. Level 2 (T-2): 3+ years of experience; ability to handle carpentry or painting tasks with minimal guidance; leadership and customer service expectations; OSHA 30, Fall Protection Training, IICRC Training, Forklift/Telehandler certification. Level 3 (T-3): 10+ years of experience; senior level expertise in complex carpentry or painting tasks; ability to train others and lead a crew on-site; strong customer service metrics; recommended advanced training.
