We are committed to ensuring that everyone on the team can grow by being around equally exceptional and kind people.Alt Legal is a customer-centric organization that prides itself on our customer support and responsiveness.Job Description: Reporting directly to the VP of Customer Support and the Senior Data Migration and Onboarding Specialist, the Data Migration and Onboarding Specialist will manage various external and internal tasks. These primarily involve client data migration, along with its transformation, analysis, and overall management. You will handle client onboarding from initial handoff to its finalization. This role has a heavy emphasis on spreadsheet work, but you will also be asked to conduct client meetings and ensure a smooth onboarding process.The initial training period requires availability Monday through Friday 11pm-7am PHT. Once training is completed, the hours will switch to Monday through Friday 7am-3pm PHT.As an internal data specialist, you will be helping customers and internal stakeholders solve their problems through the preparation of data analysis and effective communication.Your specific responsibilities:Support new and existing customers and their onboarding of IP dataPerform data mapping and manage complex datasets with high level of attention to detailMigrate customers’ data into our preferred formatCoordinate and receive inputs needed from both customers and internal stakeholdersMaintain accurate customer records.Resolve issues directly or bring in other internal resources to ensure all customer issues are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction in a timely and careful manner.Stay current with system changes and updates.Work closely with customer success, product, and other internal team leads to improve customer experienceWhat we’d like to see in the ideal candidate:4+ years’ experience in data/implementation-focused role involving support of SaaS or professional web-based solutions2+ years’ experience working from homeHigh proficiency in Excel (sorting/filtering, Vlookups)Experience with CSMs (e.g., Vitally/ChurnZero)Keen attention to detailStrong communication skills and project management skills (managing multiple data migrations at once)Ability to recognize gaps in their own knowledge and seek instructionAbility to empathize with and advocate for our customersAbility to quickly learn new concepts and teach othersGood sense of humor and a love of nerdy thingsIntellectual property experience is desired, but it’s not required to applyWhat you get: Alt Legal offers a collaborative and challenging work environment and the opportunity to be part of a growing company.
