If you have never managed an X account past a few hundred followers, if you studied social media marketing but have no live accounts to show, or if your portfolio is mostly Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn, this role is not for you. About Us:
- We are a U.S.-based commercial construction company (electrical subcontracting + general contracting) expanding across California.
- We are building an X presence to grow brand awareness in the construction/trades space, attract talent, and engage with the broader business and construction community on the platform.
- You will own the strategy and day-to-day execution of our X account.
What You Will Do:
- Own our X account end-to-end: strategy, content calendar, posting, engagement, analytics.
- Write and post original content (text posts, threads, replies, occasional graphics/video) tuned to the platform's voice and timing.
- Grow followers, impressions, and engagement with measurable month-over-month progress.
- Engage strategically: replies, quote posts, networking with relevant accounts in construction, trades, business, real estate, and adjacent spaces.
- Track and report weekly metrics: follower growth, impressions, engagement rate, profile visits, click-throughs.
- Test, iterate, and tell us what is working and what is not.
- Stay on top of X's algorithm changes, format trends, and platform shifts.
What You Must Have (Non-Negotiable):
- 2+ years actively running X accounts (your own or clients') with results you can prove with screenshots.
- At least one account you have grown from low/zero followers to 10,000+ engaged followers, or strong case studies showing comparable engagement metrics on smaller accounts.
- Native-level written English. The platform punishes awkward phrasing and you will be writing constantly.
- Deep understanding of how X actually works in 2026: algorithm behavior, reply strategy, thread structure, what dies versus what spreads, paid versus organic reach, Premium account dynamics.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (X Analytics, plus any you have used: Typefully, Hypefury, Tweet Hunter, Buffer, etc.).
- Reliable internet, ability to post during U.S. business hours and respond to engagement promptly.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in B2B, construction, trades, real estate, or services industries.
- Basic graphic/video creation skills (Canva, CapCut, etc.).
- Experience running paid X campaigns.
