Requirements and responsibilities

We are hiring a Business Development Manager with a relevant combination of education and experience in federal government contracting, conducting research, business intelligence and market analysis, and a solid understanding of the business development lifecycle. In this position, you are responsible for the day-to-day management, compliance, and strategic growth of our GWAC and IDIQ contract vehicles. The ideal candidate combines strong federal contracts knowledge with task management skills to drive revenue through our government contract vehicles. This role supports the Director of the Agile Acquisition Service Center within the Business Development Division.ResponsibilitiesManaging multiple contract vehicles, maintaining compliance and performance standardsPOC for the administration and management of task orders under our contract vehiclesMonitoring GWAC/IDIQ portals for new task order releases, RFIs, and amendmentsResponding to market research with a coordinated effort across company stakeholdersConducting research requests to assist in capture efforts during bid assessmentSupporting task order responses with capture managers, proposal leads, and contractsManaging monthly reports for active task orders as requiredAnalyzing target customer sectors aligned with our growth strategy and BD prioritiesConducting business intelligence and market analysis pertaining to our contract vehiclesAutomating repetitive workflows to increase efficiency in the task order lifecycleQualificationsBachelor’s degree with 10+ years’ experience in government contracting or a similar industryExperience with federal GWAC and IDIQ contract vehiclesProficient in using standard IT equipment and software such as Microsoft Office 365 tool suiteInternet savvy with the ability to conduct research and analysis using AIActive DOD Secret clearanceA desire to learn new skills, be proactive in supporting the business development team, and work collaboratively across the organization to meet company growth goalsPay Transparency StatementAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $110,000.00/Yr. - USD $176,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
