You’ve written serious software in a careful way, and you love scalable systems built right with small teams.In this role, you'll work on our innovative eBPF-based sensor that provides real-time visibility and control for Linux workloads across containers, virtual machines, and bare-metal servers. This technology is central to our identity-driven security approach.The ideal candidate has experience with low-level systems programming (Rust preferred), a strong understanding of Linux internals, and familiarity with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments including AWS and GCP.If you're passionate about building high-performance, security-focused software that operates reliably in production environments, we want to talk to you.ResponsibilitiesDesign, architect, and develop features and improvements in a secure, well-tested, and performant wayMaintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environmentWork closely with company leadership to guide our entry into the marketInteract with potential customers and the community to help drive adoptionCraft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practicesMaintain and advocate for these standards through code review and other cultural practicesRegularly demonstrate progress during our weekly internal demosTop candidates for this role will haveExperience designing and shipping commercially available software products at scale that customers loveExperience building and shipping self-service B2B SaaS products at scaleExpert knowledge of at least one major systems programming languageAbility to learn Rust and TypescriptExperience shipping serverless software on AWS or distributed systems experienceExperience working at a fast-growing startupBe comfortable working remotely, asynchronously, and independentlyStrong time management habits and the ability to have a quiet working environmentFluency in technology such as GitHub, AWS, Auth0, TypeScript, Rust, GitHub Copilot and ClaudeAt least 12 years of experienceAbility to thrive in a fully remote organizationAdditional notesAs a remote first company, we are looking to hire anywhere in the United States.We hire people authorized to work in the United States.
