About the jobWe are seeking an experienced Microsoft Azure Security Administrator. This position is a full time REMOTE opportunity offering a fun, flexible environment with generous pay and profit sharing. Candidates can be located anywhere in the US, but preference will be given to those residing in the Quad Cities, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, or Springfield, MO area.What you will be doingImplement, administer, and continually improve the security solutions identified in the organization’s security program to ensure all information assets and associated technology, applications, systems, infrastructure, and processes are adequately protected in the digital ecosystem.Own day-to-day security operations, including supporting and maintaining information security products that monitor and provide compliance across digital assets owned, controlled and/or processed by the organization.Take direction from the IT Security Administration Manager and work jointly with Security Engineers/Administrators and other operational teams and Enterprise Architects to coordinate, facilitate, and effectively implement and maintain compliance with the organization’s security policies and procedures.Experience you bring to the tableBA/BS degree with a minimum of 8 years in a combination of information security and IT systems administration.Knowledgeable with the operation, maintenance, and functionality of Azure Security Technologies, firewalls, and endpoint security systems.Dedicated and passionate about cyber security technologies; constantly learning and evolving to stay aware of current hacking techniques and cybercrime and keep pace with industry trends to address threats.Demonstrated track record of competency in cyber security administration and operations, ideally with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or another highly regulated environment.At least three years of hands-on working experience with Microsoft products in: Cloud Security, O365, Azure AD, Azure Identities and governance, Identity and Access Management, Microsoft Azure Sentinel, Azure Information Protect, Cloud App Security, MS Defender, and Endpoint Security.At least one Microsoft security solution certification is highly desired, including Microsoft 365 Certified, Security Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate, or Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate.Key Must-Haves in Security experienceMicrosoft Azure Sentinel, Azure Defender, Microsoft 365 DefenderOffice 365 Advanced Threat ProtectionWindows Defender Advanced Threat ProtectionMicrosoft Cloud App SecurityOffice 365 Threat IntelligenceAzure Information Protection P2
