Job Summary/Overview:
- This position performs skilled consecutive, first-person interpretation.
- Work is performed and reviewed under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Looking for local Malaysians who can read, write, and speak in Mandarin/Cantonese and English language fluently.
Experience:
- Freshers are also welcome.
Education:
- SPM.
- Diploma.
- Graduate.
Working Hours:
- 5 days per week (Saturday and Sunday off).
- Rotational shift in a 24/7 environment.
- Shift allowances provided.

Salary Range:
- 4,500 - 5,000 RM + Shift Allowances.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Provides meaning-for-meaning interpreting.
- Follows interpreter protocols as per training, policies, and procedures.
- Follows all policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
- Attends all required training.
- Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge, as required for various clients.
- Maintains confidentiality as per policies.
- Uses standard office equipment such as telephones, computers, copiers, and fax machines.
- Uses MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Edge (or another internet browser).
- All employees are required to perform the following essential functions: demonstrate predictable, reliable, and timely attendance; follow written and verbal directions and complete assigned tasks on schedule; learn from directions, observations, and mistakes; work independently or as part of a team; interact appropriately with others including co-workers, supervisors, and customers; and work with supervision, receiving instructions/feedback.

- Annual Leave 10 days for the first 2 years, 12 days after completion of 2 years (prorated).
- Medical Leave as per Labor law - 14 days.
- Bereavement leave – 3 working days in an event of death in the immediate family (Spouse, Children, parents).
- Maternity Leave – for 98 consecutive days for female associate. To start not earlier than 30 days from the expected due date or post the due date.
- Paternity leaves – 7 days.
