This role manages outbound campaigns in partnership with account executives, identifying decision makers at key accounts, and working to pre-qualify new opportunities and schedule meetings with potential buyers. Our BDR team is a critical component of our revenue organization and will fuel the next wave of company growth. Exceptional performers will have incredible opportunities for advancement within the company.The ideal candidate for the Business Development Representative role will have an interest in a sales career, a strong work ethic, self-discipline, and time management skills. In addition to generating new business opportunities, your responsibilities may include developing long-term customer relationships, managing assigned customer accounts, partnering with account executives to assist with product demos, and developing and optimizing a sales pipeline while maintaining pursuit strategies focused on key decision makers. There will be career development and growth opportunities available to those who thrive in this role.Location: Must be located in Central and West Coast time zones.ResponsibilitiesBring a world-class solution to market and function as the initial face of AuditBoardGenerate new business opportunities to fuel AuditBoard’s growthLeverage sales technology including Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Orum and UserGems to build and manage pipelineMake ~40-50+ outbound phone calls and 60+ outbound emails each dayManage your named accounts, own your territory, and help maintain data integrity in Salesforce.comSupport marketing efforts by assisting in demand generation campaignsAchieve, or exceed, weekly and monthly metrics including sales activities, meetings set, qualified leads, and new contacts prospectedAttributes for a Successful CandidateBachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) is required1+ years of prior inbound/outbound sales experience within a B2B SaaS environment is requiredDemonstrated cold calling and LinkedIn prospecting skills is requiredHave a strong desire to launch a career in the world of SaaS salesAudit or Accounting background a plus, but not requiredEnjoy working in a collaboratively competitive and fun environment.
