Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mechanical Project Engineer to support our client’s commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to learn new tools and processes in a dynamic virtual environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform data entry across multiple software platforms accurately and efficiently.Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Assist with preparing and submitting project submittals.Organize, maintain, and track project documentation and records.Schedule mechanical and HVAC activities in MS Project and support overall project scheduling, coordination, and progress tracking.Assist in ordering materials and coordinating deliveries.Schedule meetings with clients, vendors, and project team members.Manage and respond to project-related emails in a timely and professional manner.QualificationsStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience in commercial construction projects is required.Mechanical and HVAC knowledge is required.Proficiency in MS Project with the ability to schedule mechanical and HVAC tasks is required.Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Procore is an advantage.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.Willingness to learn new skills and software platforms.
