Job OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Recruiter, Contract (20 hours/week) to support hiring across a targeted set of roles spanning Engineering, Design, and Product.This role is focused on full-cycle recruiting execution, with responsibility for running searches from intake through close in partnership with hiring managers and a recruiting coordinator. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating independently, managing multiple roles, and delivering consistent progress across active searches.Job & Team ImpactIn this role, you will help ensure that priority hires are made efficiently by driving day-to-day recruiting execution. This includes building and managing pipelines, keeping candidates engaged, and maintaining momentum across interview processes.You will play a key role in helping the team stay organized and responsive—surfacing insights from the market, identifying gaps in pipelines, and ensuring hiring teams are able to make timely decisions.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOwn full-cycle recruiting across assigned roles, partnering with hiring managers to scope positions, align on candidate profiles, and drive hiring strategyBuild and manage high-quality pipelines across technical, product, and creative roles, using a mix of sourcing and inbound channelsAct as a thought partner to hiring teams, providing market insights, candidate calibration, and guidance throughout the hiring processDrive searches to close, managing candidate engagement, offer strategy, and negotiations in competitive situationsMaintain clear visibility into pipeline health and progress, proactively identifying risks and unblocking searchesPartner with the Recruiting Coordinator to ensure efficient process execution and a smooth candidate experienceIdentify and implement improvements to Recruiting workflows, helping the team operate more effectivelyExperience, Skills & Qualifications5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experienceExperience hiring across a mix of technical, product, and/or creative rolesDemonstrated ability to partner closely with hiring managers, influencing role scoping, candidate calibration, and hiring decisionsProven success in closing candidates in competitive markets, including managing multiple stakeholders and navigating offer negotiationsAbility to operate independently in a lean environment, managing multiple searches and driving consistent progress with minimal oversightStrong sourcing capabilities and ability to build high-quality pipelines across multiple functionsExperience using data and market insights to inform hiring strategy and improve outcomesExcellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skillsExperience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)Bonus PointsExperience recruiting for consumer, social, or platform-based productsExposure to hiring in areas like trust & safety, content moderation, or community-focused rolesExperience supporting both technical and creative organizationsPrior experience in a contract or embedded recruiting roleExperience working for a startup or high-growth tech company while developing a high-performing team.Demonstrated interest in VR, online communities, or be a VRChat user and creator!Knowing how our platform and community worksHow we WorkWork from anywhere!
