Your Opportunity – Be the Voice of Design at GrifinAs our first designer, here are a few of the things we’ll look for from you:30 Days: Deliver well-defined, high-quality visual design for product and marketing.60 Days: Partner with Product and Engineering to reimagine critical user flows, starting with onboarding and the first minutes of the user journey.90 Days: Establish Grifin’s design system, drive usability testing, and lead research initiatives that help us de-risk before we build.In this role, you’ll collaborate across the org, from Product to Engineering to Growth, and serve as a trusted expert in design craft, UX, and brand evolution.What Excites Us About YouYou’ve been a founding or early designer before, or have experience that shows you thrive in high-agency, ambiguous environments.You’re full-stack product designer: UI-strong, UX-obsessed, capable of both strong visual design and mapping end-to-end journeys.You don’t wait for instructions, you bring clarity, drive, and a proactive mindset to everything you touch.You’re confident running user research and usability testing, and you know how to translate insights into action.You think systematically, balancing near-term polish with building scalable design foundations.You have excellent communication skills and can collaborate easily across product, engineering, and business teams.Experience with mobile-first app design and Figma (or similar) required*Bonus* You love building responsive and animated designs*Bonus* You think differently and are able to create new experiences.
