Job DescriptionMicroHealth is seeking an experienced Database Developer with strong expertise in SQL, Linux, database migration, and reporting solutions. This role will focus on implementing, maintaining, and optimizing database systems while supporting critical reporting and analytics functions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for database applicationsManage SQL Server databases in both Windows and Linux environmentsPerform database migrations and conversions with minimal downtimeConvert Crystal Reports to SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) while maintaining functionalityImplement data models and database structures according to best practicesMonitor and optimize database performance across multiple platformsEnsure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standardsSupport ETL processes and data integration initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutionsResponsibilitiesAdvanced SQL programming skills with demonstrated experience optimizing complex queriesStrong Linux administration experience, including shell scripting and system managementProven experience migrating databases and reports between different platformsExpertise in converting Crystal Reports to SSRS formatsExperience with database security implementation and best practicesKnowledge of high availability and disaster recovery solutionsAbility to develop and maintain standardized reporting templatesExperience with healthcare data models and structures preferredQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldMinimum 10 years experience with SQL database development and administrationDemonstrated experience with Linux environments hosting database systemsProven track record of successful database migration projectsStrong experience with both Crystal Reports and SSRS developmentHealthcare data experience preferredSQL Server certifications advantageousExcellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skillsExperience with ETL processes and data integrationKnowledge of data modeling techniquesFamiliarity with cloud database platformsUnderstanding of federal healthcare compliance requirementsSalarySalary- $125k-$140k*MicroHealth is unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
